Fon is a community sharing secure Internet connection based on the Wi-Fi
Being part of the FON network can be done in three ways:
- With the Linus profile: he shares his connection at home and
can access all the other FON hotspots for free.
- With the Bill profile: he shares his connection, gets 50% of the benefits created by FON and can access all the other FON hotspots for free
- With the Alien profile: he doesn'tt share his connection, but pays 3 euros per day or looks at 30
seconds of advertising in exchange for 15 minutes access to all Internet from one
of the FON access points. He can also access all the google sites and the fonero's site.
To become a Linus or Bill, one must
share his connection with a Fonera (router sold by FON), which can
be obtained at a preferential rate from sponsor a Fonero (member of the
FON network).
How can you help the community?
1) If you have a broadband connection just contact me through the contact form and leave me a valid email adress; you will then benefit of a fonera and a fontenna for 13euros (expedition expences included).
